Limone sul Garda - Geography
The name Limone can be traced back to the Celtic limon (elm), or to the Latin limen (boundary). It is the first town on the Brescian side of the lake at 10 km from Riva del Garda , with a population of around 1,300, it can be reached via the western Gardesana road. The residential area develops around the church and is dominated by the peak of the Mughera, where the lemon houses are located. The gulf is a wonderful frame to the fishing village that was once called the “Commun Piccolo” or small community.
